He was a French painter, printmaker, lithography, and etching who was apart of the Fauvistic and Expressionism styles. He is from Paris and grew up in a poor family, but his mom is who inspired him to go into the arts. He attended the the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. His earliest works included Symbolism and then later Expressionism.
