Mostly associated with architecture, the machine-like chrome and industrialized metals, created a new look that caught the wave of the "The Golden Age" and the Roaring Twenties.

The famous World’s Fair held in Paris, was held in France from April to October 1925.
Most historians agree that "Arts Décoratifs" is where the term “Art Deco” was coined.
This major event of the 20's received 4,000 guests at the inauguration on April 28, and thousands more visited the following days.
The main body of exhibits seemed to recognize the fashionable products of the luxurious lifestyle, a clue that, Paris still reigned supreme in the arts of design even after World War I.
The following names are only a few that were actually in attendance: Alexander Rodchenko, Le Corbusier and Konstantin Melnikov, Vadim Meller, Vkhutemas, Frederick Kiesler, Josef Hoffman, Tadeusz Gronowski, Arne Jacobsen, and more.
The sculptor and architect Ivan Meštrović won the Grand Prix for The Racic Mausoleum in Cavtat.
